Dr. Morris Hazan has been tending to the eyes of Hawkesbury families for over twenty years and is so thankful to his community. With all the professional challenges and demands that come with being an optometrist, he understands that it is critical to have a tight-knit team to rely on and is grateful to his fantastic staff.

Our goal at Hawkesbury Optometric is to make a difference in our patients’ lives and safeguard their most valuable asset: their vision. Dr. Hazan graduated at the University of Waterloo in 1981, member of the Ontario Association of Optometry, and a Graduate of Oklahoma Ocular Therapeutics course.

Dr. Hazan has always been passionate about providing high-quality care to all his patients. Once he witnessed his own mother’s struggle with glaucoma, he gained valuable personal insight into the devastating consequences of this disease. His mother’s experiences spurred him to work even harder to help safeguard his patients’ vision.
